Recall class

Practice your recall in a safe environment while having fun.
If you are looking to improve a young dogs recall or refresh an older dogs memory of it, this is the class for you.
 
 
Are you looking to improve your dog or puppies recall?
If you have done some training before and you already have a basic recall but would like a bit more practice. Or your dogs recall was good but not at this moment in time. Or you have a good recall, but it is a bit lackluster.
 
What will we cover In this1 hour class ?

•  Recall dos and don’ts and the reasons why.
• A discussion of why recall is/is not working for you and your dog.
• Play recall games to put the excitement back in to returning to you.

 
What you need to know
This is a 1 hour class with up to 6 dogs. The whole hour will be dedicated to recall and nothing else.
We are a reward-based training company so will not except the use of aversives e.g. choke chains
Your puppies / dogs should be fully vaccinated or equivalent precautions taken, this is a dog daycare centre during the week so it is important that your puppy or dog is safe to be in areas where lots of dogs have been.
You will need to bring with you a longline/training lead if you have one.  Lots of tasty treats, poo bags.  And if your dog is into balls or tuggie toys you can bring them as we might have time to use them.
As your dog will be on a long line/lead it is strongly recommended they wear a harness to prevent possible neck injurys.
